I made this picture at a house fire earlier this week. For a while I had seriously considered living in Evergreen. Then I realized how far away the nearest water supply was in the event of a fire. There is a reason that people keep a “go box” with all their important belongings next to the front door during fire season.

Mr. EHS Competition Rehearsal

Last week I stopped by the Mr. Evergreen High School competition rehearsal to make a few pictures. The lighting in the auditorium at EHS is abysmal. It’s something like ISO 6400, f2.8 at 1/30th in the bright spots. Even with the tough lighting conditions I managed to make a few frames that I liked. Click through for a few more.
